2022 Chevy Camaro Concept Release Date and Specs

Rumored to feature a number of upgraded amenities, the new 2022 Chevy Camaro Zl1 has gained some attention from car enthusiasts.

2022 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Specs

As has been mentioned before, the sixth generation Chevy Camaro ZL1 will be equipped with upgraded features; and so do the exterior. The new model will feature a much more impressive front fascia which is available with the ZL1 package.

The changes on the front side are also impressive. The new ZL1 will get a larger intake under its skinny grille. It will also pack redesigns cooling ducts as well as vertical LED daytime running lights. Then, the upper and lower opening will come with a new grille pattern. To complete the front look, a vented hood with carbon fiber insert and ZL1 logos is present.

As for the rear, the new Chevy Camaro ZL1 gets new lightweight wheels in gloss-black. The new ride also features a lowered suspension setup. Also inserted with suede inserts are passenger-side dashboard, door panels, and a bespoke display for the infotainment screen.

The new 2022 ZL1 also shows the same details as those of the redesigned 2016 Camaro. It features larger infotainment screen which is placed higher in the center stack. For the new models, most of the buttons are now positioned below the touchscreen.

As for the cabin, the new Chevy Camaro ZL1 provides more spacious and comfortable cabin. Since there is more space, passengers get adequate leg- and headroom to sit comfortably.

Stated in the title, the new Chevy Camaro ZL1 will be powered by powerful unit under its hood. The automaker has dropped the previous supercharged 6.2 L LSA V8 engine which is powering the previous model.

The 2022 Chevy Camaro ZL1 will be powered by supercharged 6.2 L V8 engine with upgraded intake and exhaust system. The engine is capable of producing more or less 640 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. Another newest feature is the ten-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
