2022 Buick Encore Changes
One of the biggest changes on the new Encore for 2022 model is the exterior, especially the front part. The new ride will be featured with new grille which highlights Buick’s winged grille design. Further, it also gets the new tri-color Buick emblem.
Besides the grille, the new Encore also packs new front headlights. The fog lights have also been redesigned to have a more upscale look. For a higher trim Encore, the models even receive Led headlights.

In terms of the interior, the 2022 Buick Encore gets upgraded interior with a new dashboard designs. The automaker also uses more premium materials for the interior. It gets an upgraded gauge cluster featuring 4.2-inch color information screen.
Next, the new Encore comes with a new eight-inch infotainment screen with frameless screen design. It packs the newest version of IntellLink infotainment software. As a result, it gives the Encore Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Further, it provides 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
2022 Buick Encore Under the Hood
Under the hood, the only engine option for the Encore is a 1.4 L turbocharged four-cylinder. The engine is capable of producing 138 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque. For a more powerful output, there is the Sport Touring Edition, Leather, and Premium trim levels. A higher trim level boosts output to 153 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque.
In addition to it, the automaker also offers an automatic engine start/stop system on the high-tune version. No matter what the tune is, the engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. As for the fuel economy rating, it goes at 25 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway with FWD. As for the AWD, it goes at 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. Having all these features, the 2022 Buick Encore is predicted to be a tough competitor for Volkswagen Tiguan and Mini Countryman.
