2022 Audi Q5 Redesign and Changes
The 2022 Audi Q5 is available in Premium and Premium Plus trim levels. The standard features on the base Premium models include automatic xenon headlights, LED running light and taillight, foglights, automatic wipers, rear privacy glass, and a panoramic liftgate. Further, the models ride on 18-inch alloy wheels.
As for the Premium Plus, it adds power-folding outside mirrors and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a compass. In addition to it, the Premium Plus also gets the Technology package which comes with several addition features.
In terms of the interior, as mentioned before, the new Audi Q5 will offer high-quality cabin. The entry-level Premium models will be equipped with high-quality leather upholstery to provide comfort for passengers. Further, it also comes standard with Audi’s MMI infotainment system which includes dash-mounted controls. Other features include Bluetooth phone connectivity, satellite radio, and a 10-speaker audio system with a CD player.
For those who need more features, the Premium models also are offered with some additional features. Those include an upgraded MMI system which comes with a larger screen and console-mounted controls. Further, also come as optional features are MMI Navigation Plus package, Bluetooth streaming audio, HD radio, and a DVD player.
2022 Audi Q5 Safety and Engine Specs
All models of the new Audi Q5 will be equipped with some standard safety features. Those are traction control, stability control, antilock brakes, and side curtain and front-seat side airbags. Further, the rear-seat side airbags are available as optional features. Buyers can get more features on the Premium Plus trim which adds a blind- spot warning system.
The 2022 Audi Q5 will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L four-cylinder engine. The engine is capable of producing 220 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission as the only transmission available. As for the EPA-estimated fuel economy is 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway.
