The redesigned 2020 Audi TT RS will be the mark of the Audi’s Matrix OLED debut. The new model will be featured with the Audi’s Matrix OLED technology on series-production taillights. Further on the body style, the new TT RS also brings newly designed wheels.
2020 Audi TT RS Redesign and Changes
For 2020, the new Audi TT RS is designed based on the third generation of TT. It brings the car’s sharp front grille. Further, the new TT RS features redesigned headlamps as well as revised bumper.
We can see it from far that the appearance of the new model looks more aggressive and more attractive. It thanks to the honeycomb mesh in the Single frame grille that makes the look bolder. In addition to it, the new TT RS also gets larger air intakes in the bumper and silver blade-like element at the bottom.
As for the interior, the 2020 TT RS will have a sportier interior design. Some of the highlights on the inside of the new TT RS are the red accents on the gear shifter, red stitching on the center console and door panels.
Comes standard on the new TT RS also includes the 12.3-inch screen as an instrument cluster. All model also features MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch. Then, there is also the new Audi smartphone interface technology which shows selected applications from the cell phone.
2020 Audi TT RS Safety Features
Every model of the 2020 TT RS is equipped with a number of standard safety features. Come standard on the new model are front thorax side airbags, knee airbags, driver and front passenger dual-stage airbags, and side head curtain airbags.
In addition to it, the automaker also offers the standard safety package which includes central locking system with safety, front passenger detection for airbags, and safety belt reminder. Moreover, the package also features anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control, a tire pressure monitoring system, and lower anchors and tethers for children in rear seats.
2020 Audi TT RS Engine Specs
The new model of Audi TT RS will be using the same configuration as that of the previous model. Even so, it is rumored that the new model will no longer be powered by the 2.5 L five-cylinder engine. Unfortunately, the exact engine lineup has not been released yet.
Despite the fact that it remains unclear, rumor has it that the engine will be enhanced in order to produce more output. Since the car will be lighter by around 22 pounds, it is expected that the car will deliver better performance. On top of that, the 2020 Audi TT RS will come with the Quattro all-wheel drive system as standard.
